2019 Toyota Avalon Highlights
The large grille along with the longer, wider and lower stance of the new Avalon provide a more bold, intriguing look. Both Limited and Touring models also come with standard LED headlights and taillights as well as dynamic auxiliary turn signals, allowing you to see well in the dark while also being seen by oncoming vehicles.
The 2019 Avalon is the first Toyota vehicle to feature standard Apple CarPlay, allowing you to connect your compatible iPhone to the Entune 3.0 audio system in order to navigate using apple maps, make phone calls, send and receive messages, listen to music and more. Additionally, Toyota Remote Connect has been improved allowing you to start your Avalon, lock and unlock the doors all from your cellphone or smart watch.
XLE, XSE, Limited and Touring gas models come with a 3.5L V6 engine that produces 301 hp and 267 lb.-ft of torque. The impressive hybrid system delivers 215 hp and has an EPA-estimated 43/44/44 (city/hwy/combined) MPG compared to the 22/32/26 MPG of the gas models.
Safety & Convenience
Each new Avalon comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense P (TSS-P) which is a package of safety features including Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD), Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/ SA) and Automatic High Beams (ABH).
