July 9th, 2024 by

Toyota has unveiled the 2024 Land Cruiser lineup with three distinct trims: the 1958 base model, the standard Land Cruiser, and the luxurious First Edition.

Distinctive Designs

Each trim of the 2024 Land Cruiser features unique styling elements. The 1958 boasts round LED headlights, complemented by LED fog lamps, and rides on 18-inch wheels wrapped in 245/70 all-season tires. Stepping up to the standard Land Cruiser introduces a different aesthetic with rectangular LED headlights and versatile Rigid LED fog lamps that switch between white and amber lighting. This model offers 18-inch wheels with 265/70 all-season tires as standard, with an option for 20-inch wheels wrapped in 265/60 tires. The top-tier First Edition returns to the round headlights while adding practical off-road accessories like a roof rack, rock rails, and a front skid plate. Available in seven colors, including the new Meteor Shower shade, the First Edition also offers unique two-tone options like Trail Dust and Heritage Blue with a Grayscape roof.

Interior Variations

Inside, each trim of the 2024 Land Cruiser showcases distinct cabin features. The 1958 model features manually adjustable cloth seats that are heated, along with a standard 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Moving up to the standard Land Cruiser, synthetic leather covers the seats, which are heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable. This trim also offers an optional Premium package that upgrades to genuine leather and adds a 14-speaker JBL sound system, a head-up display, a digital rearview mirror, and a sunroof. The First Edition mirrors many of these premium features, including a unique stitched case for its key.

The 1958 model includes essentials like a rear locking differential, Toyota’s Crawl Control for low-speed off-road driving, and a robust 2400-watt AC inverter for powering additional accessories. Stepping up to the standard Land Cruiser introduces Toyota’s Multi-Terrain Select, optimizing traction across different surfaces with specialized drive modes. The mid-tier model further enhances off-road capability with an electronic disconnecting front anti-roll bar and a Multi-Terrain Monitor that provides multiple camera views to assist in navigating challenging terrain
