What does a PARTS ADVISOR do?
Wilsonville Toyota Parts Advisors have two different groups of customers that each deserve great service. First are the external customers, Toyota Owners looking for the right accessories or parts for their particular needs. Second, the Parts Department’s internal customers are the technicians in the shop that are working to complete their job as quickly as possible.
Both sets of customers have distinct needs and challenges but they have the same interest in getting the right parts at the right time. Since Toyota owners are connected to their cars like no other brand’s customers, it’s extremely important that we are well connected too. Using the latest technology offerings, our Parts Advisors quickly find the necessary (and supporting) components to make repairs and upgrades properly.
What makes a great Wilsonville Toyota Parts Advisor?
The Wilsonville Toyota Parts and Service Departments will be busy. Extremely busy! So our Parts Advisors will be expected to perform at a high level, quickly delivering excellent solutions whenever called upon. Just like any consultant position, your product and technical knowledge will be tested daily. You’ll want to take advantage of every bit of training Toyota has to offer. College and/or technical education is a definite PLUS!
The most important thing a Parts Advisor can bring to the team is a great customer service attitude. The Parts team is a critical piece of the whole fixed operations side of the business. We’re looking for parts experts who can perform well, every day, with a smile and focus on taking care of all of their customers’ needs.
