What do you get when you combine a compact crossover, a hatchback, and a sport coupe? You get the uniqueness that’s only found in the Toyota C-HR, a perfect blend of all of the above three car-styles with the safety and reliability of a Toyota vehicle. Also, with the addition of the 2021 model year, the C-HR is going dark, by giving you a ton more customization options including the Nightshade edition found among Toyota’s lineup.
Nightshade Edition:
The Nightshade package comes available with Black Sand Pearl, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Blizzard Pearl, and Supersonic Red exterior colors with black accents, wheels, and spoiler. The regular C-HR is only available in Oxide Bronze, Magnetic Gray, Supersonic Red, and Blue Eclipse Metallic.
- Supersonic Red
- Magnetic Grey Metallic
- Blizzard Pearl
New improvements for 2021 C-HR:
The 2021 C-HR is getting big improvements other than the nightshade styling too, mainly Toyota’s Safety Sense 2.5 which includes features like Pre-collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Road Sign Assist, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Keep Technology and Automatic High Beams. These all work in conjunction to make Toyota’s lineup to be some of the safest vehicles that have ever been put on the road!
Carryovers from 2020:
Carrying over from 2020, all C-HR models come standard with Apple Carplay/Android Auto compatibility and 3 free months of SiriusXM radio. All of this is on an 8” touchscreen display with 6 speakers making anything and everything you do in your car sound and look great!
Carrying over as well are the 60/40 split rear seats that fold flat for extra cargo space, as well as the improvements of cargo space under the cargo area with compartments that will let you store tools and emergency items if the need should ever arise. This is all covered by a cargo cover that comes with all trim levels.
Now the interior and exterior of the car sounds great, but how is it to drive you may be asking? Well, not only are you getting 144 horsepower and 139 pound-feet of torque out of the C-HR’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, you’re also getting a 29 combined MPG ratio, with 27 in the city and 31 on the highway!
Keep a lookout for the 2021 C-HR Nightshade edition dropping later this year into early next year, but in the meantime while you wait, take a look at our C-HR inventory right now!
